I am no wet liberal but I do believe that Bush and Blair will live in history as making the world a less safe place for all of us. They have achieved nothing in lessening terrorist activities but rather appear to have made matters worse in some ways. Both have their own agenda which is nothing to do with preventing terrorism but more personal glory.

Of course as a British man traveling abroad all the time I am constantly reminded that Blair & Bush are like brothers. Bush being the older brother and Blair following on, like younger brothers do, but when it all goes wrong the young ones say I told you so!

The only impact the Bush/Blair alliance has had is a positive one for the west because the terrorists have got the message that we are united in the war against them.
